| In 1991 when the Indian economy was undergoing rapid liberalization & globalization, our enterprising founder Mr Ashok Garg recognized the potential that Indian companies had for exporting various products to other countries. He founded Kumar Impex with an objective to export General House Hold Items to Africa & Middle East because many countries in these regions at that time were not involved in the mass production of the General Household Items and most of these countries in Africa & Middle East had only the small scale industries for basic necessities only such as edible oils, washing soaps, jelly, sugar & utensils & agro industries based on the local agriculture produce etc. He had a vision that most of the Sundry House Hold Items such as kitchen utilities, basic food, cosmetics & domestic healthcare products and other general items related to mankind’s day to day lives has vast potential for export from India. As such items were already into import in Africa & Middle East from Europe and North America & thus were quite expensive. Mr Garg had a vision that these regions could benefit immensely from less expensive and equally good quality alternatives available from India, hence started exporting a large number of household items to Africa & Middle East 20 years back. |

| His vision has proved right as these sundry items stood the test of time and due to their sturdiness and being less expensive over similar product from other countries became most favorite in Africa & Middle East. Indian sundry items have been in fact proven to be the boon for African & Middle East traders and consumers. Apart from export to various private traders, we are participating in the international tenders for exports floated by various aid agencies of the World Bank and the NGO’s & also by the native government of that country.
